This came after he made a suggestion to tip the group for their services to the Sector, which was quickly rescinded after being told that any tips would be deducted from his balance. However, it was too late. Those with miscellanous roles thought it was a fantastic idea and asked Oetta, the first leader of the committee, to implement Rayson's suggestion, which she agreed to do.
Rayson's balance in the Local Fund before being deducted for tips was 4 bananas. After a complimentary payment of 0.50 bananas was made to each of the 9 crazy creatures with miscellaneous roles, his balance was decreased to -0.50 bananas. The payment was made in the form of adding the amount to their respective balances in the Local Fund, ensuring the total amount in the fund remained the same. When asked for comment, Leattosh, one of the creatures holding miscellanous roles, replied that "Rayson made a fantastic suggestion so we asked Oetta to implement it. We thank Rayson for his generosity."
UPDATE: Oetta has informed us that the deduction of Rayson's balance for tips was a joke, and that the balances have been reinstated to how they were before. She added that the committee's current policy position was that no tips would be handed out to anyone in the sector from the Local Fund. A photo alledgedly showing Rayson holding a knife in close proximity to Oetta after the tips were distributed was sent to us by an anonymous source, but has yet to be independently verified.
