American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth has revealed that his 2017 hit single, "Attention", which peaked at #9 on the UK Singles Chart and #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, was written about Sector 22's Victoria. This revelation came after Victoria admitted to the rest of the Sector that she liked attention.
Puth also admitted that he decided to pursue a relationship with Victoria while volunteering at the military compound in 2016, despite a large age gap between the two and Victoria being a minor at the time while he was 26, but he also attributed some blame to Victoria for constantly trying to disturb him and get his attention while he was trying to do his volunteer work.
When asked for comment, Victoria told us that "I may have been younger and done some stupid things at the time, but as the older, more responsible person, it was Charlie's responsibility to make sure that any relationship between us didn't happen". Puth has declined to comment on Victoria's reply.
