Partially fictional tales from the mysterious
Sector 22
Anton briefly falls into deep slumber during Adult B's lesson
14 April 2023 04:30 UTC
The time was 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Adult B was attempting to teach English writing skills to the crazy creatures of Sector 22. Anton was likely bored, and maybe even tired. Energy was draining from his brain faster than it was being replaced, and his body soon forced him to fall into deep slumber so that he could regain his energy.
As Anton's eyes closed, his consciousness separated from his physical body and started traversing across time and space. Anton started to see words flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup, slithering wildly as they slipped across the universe. He went back to Ancient Egypt when the pyramids were first completed, and kicked a makeshift football to the top of the tallest one. The words then warped his vision to allow him to witness the birth of modern football. He traversed many more places in space and time, ending off by imagining himself walking onto the stage in Cupertino during the event in which Steve Jobs announced the first iPhone, and kicking a football through the ceiling.
The football was about to break through the ceiling, but then Anton heard voices from near his physical self. His friends Dillanth and Rayson were asking him to awaken from his slumber, to no avail, as Anton ignored thee calls. By this point, Adult B had stopped teaching. Adult B then tapped his shoulder and asked him to awaken, which spooked Anton, causing his consciousness to return to his physical body and for him to finally awaken, just as the ball touched the ceiling.
At publishing time, Anton has not given any comment on his slumber adventures, other than "Jai Geru Deva, Om".
